All models, all series – the main thing is – a beautiful star! That's the motto of the Mercedes event "SCHÖNE STERNE 2015", which will take place in front of an impressive setting of a former ironworks in Hattingen on the 10/11th October the 6th time - on the area of the LWL industrial museum Henrichshütte. No Mercedes fan should miss this event. All important information you find in this article, which is updated regularly.

SCHÖNE STERNE 2015 – the event for all SCHÖNE STERNE

The Mercedes brand is fascinating and polarizing. No other event before has brought Mercedes enthusiasts of all series and models more impressively together as SCHÖNE STERNE! The enthusiasm for the “good star” has many facets, which you can see at the SCHÖNE STERNE!

Hattingen is located in the middle of the Ruhr area - between Essen and Bochum

Whether a vintage or AMG, a classic car or rare single piece, all beautiful stars are cordially invited to attend this unique event! Friends and fans of the smart brand are also welcome as well as clubs, communities of interest and forum members of the Mercedes scene!

Where can I sign up? Where can I get tickets?

For all participants a point of sale is available on both event days. Beginning in April 2015 participants with a vehicle can also simply sign up and purchase tickets online via our Mercedes event ticket shop. The offered memorabilia and fan wear are also available in our shop at the Mercedes-Fans.de booth.

Collective orders for clubs & communities

Clubs and communities, please order the tickets for all your members collected. This simplifies not only the handling, but also helps us, to keep the organization and logistic costs as low as possible - and the ticket prices too! On the other hand it´s the only possibility to assure all clubs and communities their own floor stands.

A varied program, over 50 trophies - present your SCHÖNEN STERN in the show area!

It´s the Mix, which makes this event so unique! SCHÖNE STERNE 2015 is open for all Mercedes - whether old or new, classic or tuned. In addition to the presentation of the travelled Mercedes models on a stage and all the fuel talks coming along, there will be numerous program points regarding car care, car tuning and club life.

"Café Bertha"
In the "Café Bertha" towards the platform at the museum you can get not only coffee and cake.

"Kids Area"
Even for the young and recent Mercedes fans is provided. A kids area is available as well as an elegant resting area for adults.

"Classic bus tours"
Like last year we will offer tours with the Mercedes-Benz O319 vintage bus again. There are two bus stops, one behind the show stage at the transfer tower, the other at the "Café Bertha". The free trips take place from 10 - 18 o´clock across the complete area of the LWL industrial museum and the Mercedes event SCHÖNE STERNE.

"Pullback-Car Worldchampionship"
For the very first time there will be Silverarrows at the Mercedes-Event "SCHÖNE STERNE" -  as Pullback-Cars in 1:64 scale with own Worldchampionship.

"DTM star Maximilian Götz as guest"
DTM driver Maximilian Götz, who also writes for our magazine, will b on site on Saturday and to meet his fans. And he brings his Mercedes AMG DTM C 63, which you can marvel live!

Jurors and 50 trophies

A jury of experts will examine the travelled vehicles and award over 50 trophies on Sunday. Like last year, only the vehicles, which drive in front of the stage will be judged. There is still only one category and it is the "top 50" chosen from all model years and series. Furthermore there are a trophy for the longest journey, a lady's cup and the editor's pick and three special trophies, initiated by our media partner, the WAZ, especially for cars of the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Goodie bag

The welcome bag: This year again the first 250 vehicles will be greeted at the entrance with a surprise on both days. What´s inside the bag this time will be not revealed yet, but in recent years, the bags were packed full with many small giveaways!
 

SCHÖNE STERNE fan wear

According to the motto: “I was there.” we offer exclusive SCHÖNE STERNE fan wear in good quality already before the event as a memento. Mercedes-Fans.de carries very beautiful, high quality polo shirts, shirts, body warmers and caps embroidered with SCHÖNE STERNE and classic t-shirts, cups and pins produced in limited numbers.

Playground for children at the SCHÖNE STERNE

On the area of the LWL industrial museum Henrichshütte in Hattingen there is an attraction for the little ones: a unique children's playground with a blast furnace as a showpiece. Here the children can play iron and steel production - but the oven is certainly cold!

Henrichshütte - a former ironworks provides the perfect setting for SCHÖNE STERNE.

Once the LWL industrial museum Henrichshütte was an ironworks, today it´s an impressive museum of iron and steel! For 150 years the sparks sprayed, when the blast furnaces of the Henrichshütte spat out liquid iron. At the event SCHÖNE STERNE 2015 all sections are freely accessible for you. Have you ever stood in front of a steel tapping or blast furnace? We make the history of iron and steel at this unique original location alive for you!

Dogs are allowed on a lead outside area - except the children's playground. Dogs are not allowed in the museum buildings.
